L1 Certified February 2014
I have lived in Springfield basically my whole life. I graduated high school in 2010 from Pleasant Plains. Then went on to attend Olivet Nazarene University for a semester, where I played football and studied athletic training. I ended up coming back home in the winter, and switched my major to business and received my associates at Lincoln Land Community College. I also attended Midwest Technical Institute and completed my Welding and Pipefitting Certifications in June 2014.
I have always have had a passion for working out and fitness, and it was always my dream to be a personal trainer at my very own gym. I have worked at a few different gyms, and supplement companies which has definitely taught me a lot. I started CrossFitting back in October 2013 thanks to Bryan. Best fitness decision I ever made!
What I love most about CrossFit is that it allows you the opportunity to push your body to its limits, and accomplish things you never thought possible. Not just physically strengthening your body but mentally as well.
What I love most about being a coach is seeing our fitfam grow over the months and being able to motivate and help them on their fitness journeys. Its crazy the amount of confidence and improvements one can make in just a month of CrossFit. So rewarding to see this as a coach!
